Many have enjoyed the high quality, full-color glossy magazines- Joliet Magazine, Bolingbrook Magazine and Lisle Magazine. So to continue our efforts, we are pleased and proud to announce that we will be bringing our magazines to television.

We will begin videotaping during the 2009 season, and the program will air on Comcast and other networks.

It will feature the same quality content you’ve come to expect from the magazines featuring academic leaders, entertainers, community state and national leaders, entrepreneurs, religious leaders and more.

SYNOPSIS

Giving Back Is a television program that makes positive happenings stand out. It shows how the community of Will County gives back. In the film we explore the meaning of giving back and how much it takes to truly fulfill the needs of others. The economic development project takes us into the lives of the community members, how things can be different with just a little change or a lot of change in this case. We start with a building that is in need of rehab. In rehabbing this building we hope to bring a renewal of spirit to the community in Joliet. Will County Boxing Gym will serve more than 1000 youth.

WHAT MAKES THIS SHOW DIFFERENT OR UNIQUE?

It studies how we come to certain conclusions, how we see each other. Our connections have started to break down. If we continue to loose those connections with one another we will lose the freedoms of this country. This country was built on sharing, so we have to find a way to lift each other up again. It is inside, we know - when we give more we get more- but now we say “I will save everything I have”. The more we say that we lose. We always talk about how bad things are going, let us turn it around.
